Meditation Maze (2017)

It is a winding labyrinth of decisions, each step leading to the next, alludes to a life journey of self-discovery: We sometimes get lost temporarily find ourselves at dead ends, but ultimately we are capable of finding our way. From the top of the center dome, participants are able to sit and look back on their journey, reflecting on the path it took to reach the pinnacle.

Proposal for a temporary art installation at Burning Man 2017. Both initial renderings & revisions included.

A wood cribbing styled maze designed for movement and meditation. Citizens of Black Rock are open to choose the path they take towards the center, whether it be by following the long walking channel laid out or finding their own path navigating over the top of the walls.

Project: Interactive Art Installation
Status: Invited Finalist, Unbuilt
Collaborators: Anrai Richardson, Leila Noone, Jesse Danger
Projected Cost: $18,600
Location: Black Rock Desert, AZ
Date: 2017
